Music In Healthcare Across London and East Anglia

Pulse Arts is a community Interest organisation that makes person-centred, live music interactions in hospitals and hospices with patients, family members and healthcare staff.

Our work reduces the stress and anxiety of being in hospital, helps patients manage pain and discomfort, and can improve wellbeing during difficult periods of hospitalisation.

We were recently featured on Grayson Perry: Rites of Passage - Episode 3 Birth. Watch On Demand here - https://www.channel4.com/programmes/grayson-perry-rites-of-passage/on-demand/64824-003

“Live music in hospital was found to enhance the aesthetic environment of the hospital, with both patients and staff stating that listening to live music helped them to relax, feel happier and more positive.
— H Moss, E Nolan, D O'Neill (2007): A Cure for the Soul? The Benefit of Live Music in the General Hospital.
